How-To
Find several empty boxes of all shapes and sizes, such as tissue boxes, cereal boxes, shoe boxes, etc.

You can decorate the boxes using construction paper or newspaper or wrapping paper to cover the boxes.

Once you’ve decorated all your boxes, cut small strips of Velcro and attach a tiny strip to each side of every box. You can also purchase Velcro pieces already cut into small circles.

Then give the boxes to the children to play with so they can use their imagination to build their own structures. Because the boxes have Velcro, the structures can be built very high and even expand horizontally.

The sharing part is in how your kids take turns to build the structure. Encourage your kids to build the structure together, with each child taking turns getting the chance to add a box to the structure wherever he or she wants to.
